Calcium Chloride belongs to the group of inorganic compounds that appears as a white crystalline solid with a good stability at room temperature. They are available in various different physical forms such as powders, granules and pellets. These are prepared by using top grade hydrochloric acid and raw limestone to produce a high quality material with a low level of alkali metals, iron and various other impurities. Calcium Chloride do not have any odour and are highly soluble in water with an excellent absorption property due to their hygroscopic nature. These chemical compounds can be used in various different applications such as calcifying of aquarium water, food additives, desiccation, dust control and de-icing of roads.
